A remarkable and characterful bronze sculpture of a reclining panda, executed after Milo. The panda is depicted in a relaxed pose as it brings bamboo to its mouth. The combination of the dark patinated surface with the warm gold-colored polished accents emphasizes the head, belly, paws and the fine texture of the fur. The sculpture stands on a heavy, polished marble pedestal with pronounced gold-brown natural veining. This gives the whole piece a luxurious and classical look.
