Milo (1910-1978) - after - Sculpture

A distinctive and characterful bronze sculpture of a lying panda, executed after Milo. The panda is depicted in a relaxed pose as he brings bamboo to his mouth. The combination of the dark patinated surface with the warm gold-colored polished accents highlights the head, belly, legs, and the fine texture of the fur. The sculpture stands on a heavy, polished marble pedestal with pronounced gold-brown natural veining. This gives the piece a luxurious and classical appearance. A decorative art object that reveals a lot of detail up close as well as from a distance and looks especially beautiful in a modern, classical, or eclectic interior.
