Milo (1910-1978) - after - Sculpture

A distinctive and characterful bronze sculpture of a lying panda, after Milo. The panda is depicted in a relaxed pose as it brings bamboo to its mouth. The combination of the dark patinated surface with warm gold-colored polished accents emphasizes the head, belly, paws, and the fine texture of the fur. The sculpture rests on a heavy, polished marble plinth with a pronounced gold-brown natural veining. This gives the whole piece a luxurious and classical appearance. A decorative art object that shows a lot of detail both up close and from a distance and looks especially beautiful in a modern, classical, or eclectic interior.
