Crafted with a fine worsted wool pile on a cotton foundation, employing Karastan's distinctive woven-through-the-back construction to emulate the appearance of traditional hand-knotted Persian rugs. The reverse retains its original blue Karastan manufacturer's label, identifying the rug as having an all-wool face and being woven in the U.S.A. Reinforcing canvas strips are present along the side edges.
