Michael Fantozzi - Little Fish #42

Michael Fantozzi is an international artist and the original creator of the famous sarcastic clay fish that are captivating collectors and enthusiasts around the world. From this iconic series arise the “Little Fish” works: unique creations, entirely handmade by the artist, one by one, without the use of molds, reproductions or industrial copies. Each fish is personally modeled by Michael Fantozzi in clay, making every work absolutely unrepeatable. There is no other identical work in the world. Owning a Michael Fantozzi creation means possessing something authentic, rare and hard to find: not a print, not a replica, but an original work shaped by the artist’s hands with hours of artisanal craftsmanship and obsessive attention to detail. For the realization of his works, Michael Fantozzi sources carefully selected materials from different parts of the world: from high-quality iridescent acrylics to the glowing zircons that embellish every detail, up to carefully chosen decorative elements to give character and uniqueness to each piece. Each material is chosen not only for its beauty but also for its ability to convey emotion, light and personality to the work. Michael Fantozzi’s works are today sold and collected internationally. Large installations and large-scale works have been exhibited at the Milan, Rome, and Florence Biennales, and in numerous artistic exhibitions and events across Europe. The artist was also awarded at Montecitorio as Italian Excellence Abroad, a recognition that testifies to the international and cultural impact of his work. Michael Fantozzi was also selected and published in Mondadori’s historic magazine “ARTE” among the 100 most interesting Italian contemporary artists today, an important editorial recognition that confirms the artistic and collectible value of his works. The appearance in ARTE, a reference point for collectors, gallerists and enthusiasts of the sector, further consolidated the artist’s fame in the Italian and European contemporary scene, highlighting the originality of his artistic language and the communicative power of his creations. Behind every work hides a powerful and current message: the denunciation of pollution, especially marine pollution, told through an ironic, provocative visual language rich in sarcasm. Michael Fantozzi’s fish are decorated with symbolic elements such as cigarettes, chewing gum, bottles, cans and musical instruments, turning them into silent spokespersons for marine animals and the consequences of human impact on the planet. These works are not simple decorative objects: they are conversations to hang on the walls. An elegant and original way to address important themes like the pollution that affects humanity, without renouncing that touch of irony that makes each creation even more intense and memorable. Each work is titled, numbered and hand-signed by the artist and is accompanied by the corresponding certificate of authenticity. The piece is delivered inside a refined closed frame box, designed to protect the work from dust, shocks and external elements, while also enhancing it as a true collectible piece. The frame is supplied ready to hang, immediately transforming the work into an exclusive element for your home or space. Shipping is carried out with professional and protective packaging, designed to ensure maximum safety during transport.
