Mexico 1872 "Hidalgos" Issue

Mexico 1872 "Hidalgos" Issue Various Districts. The 1872 Hidalgo issue: a large balance of a beautiful and expertly organized collection, put together by a very discerning collector. It comprises over 320 stamps (mostly used) in singles, blocks, and strips, plus 18 covers. A small section of fakes and reprints is also included (not counted). The collection is organized into twelve auction group lots by district (Chalco, Chiapas, Córdoba, Lagos, Mérida, Monterrey, Morelia, Oaxaca, Pachuca, Saltillo, Tampico and San Luis Potosí), with additional items and watermarked stamps offered in individual lots, for a total of 29 districts represented (Acapulco, Cd. Bravos, Colima, Chihuahua, Guadalajara, Ixtlahuaca, Jalapa, Maravatío, Matamoros, Puebla, Orizaba, Querétaro, Tixtla, Toluca, Ures, Veracruz and Zacatecas).
