Mexico, 1868 "Hidalgos" Issue

Mexico 1868 "Hidalgos" Issue Chihuahua. 1868, "Thick Figures", 6c. Black on Brown strip of four on a pristine cover from Coronado to Hidalgo, dated 20th May 1868, with a manuscript cancel. The date is well past the launching of the 1872 issue (1st April 1872), when the 1868 issue had been demonetized, making this a rare provisional usage. Scott 58.
