This Meissen porcelain figurine is from the Gardener's Children series and depicts a young girl in 18th-century style attire. The piece is crafted from glazed porcelain featuring overglaze polychrome hand-painted decoration and gilt accents. She holds a small basket in her right hand containing white ovoid objects. A sculpted sack is positioned at her feet. The underside of the base bears the underglaze blue crossed swords mark of Meissen. A red-painted decorator mark 10 and faint impressed characters are also present on the underside.
