A striking Medieval bronze devotional cross, attributed to the Crusader era, distinguished by its powerful sculptural form and unusual cross-within-a-cross appearance. The pendant is formed around a strong central cross with four projecting arms, each terminating in a broad, flared end. These expanded terminals give the object a monumental appearance despite its wearable dimensions and recall the characteristic emphasis on the four arms of the Christian cross in medieval devotional art. Particularly fascinating is the construction of the vertical axis.
