All auctions / Toys & Collectibles / MCG 1:18 - Model car - Mercedes Nürburg 460 limousine...
An impressive Mercedes-Benz Nürburg 460 Limousine from 1928, produced by MCG (Model Car Group) at 1:18 scale. This model represents the grandeur of German automotive manufacturing in the interwar period, when luxury, technical solidity, and stately design were central. The Nürburg 460 was a large luxury car from Mercedes-Benz, and its name honored the famous Nürburgring. The model belonged to the higher segment at the time and radiated exactly what one would expect from a prestigious Mercedes: size, comfort, and an imposing presence. MCG has captured that character particularly beautifully. The cream/beige bodywork with dark-green accents forms a stylish combination with the classic whitewall tires and red-brown wheels. At the front, the large chromed headlamps, imposing radiator, the Mercedes star, and extra lighting immediately stand out. The side view is also full of characteristic details. The long running boards, the side-mounted spare wheel, and the generous window areas emphasize the limousine version. At the rear, there is also a large, separately shaped luggage trunk with a Mercedes emblem. This detail fits perfectly with the luxurious touring car character of this classic. The combination of chrome, two-tone bodywork, and typical 1920s details gives the model a pronounced Pre-War Luxury look. The scale model has no opening parts, so the stately body lines remain beautifully intact.
