Max Sammet (1913-1992) - Sonnenblumen

Max Sammet was born in Rehau, died in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Studied at the State School for Applied Arts in Munich. From 1935 he lived and worked in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He was regarded as one of the last “Romantics” of Alpine painting. His main motifs included Upper Bavarian and alpine landscapes (such as the Zugspitze, Lake Riessersee, Ramsau or Heiligenblut with the Großglockner), but also still lifes and flower pictures (such as poppies or chrysanthemums). The work shows a still life with a beautiful bouquet with sunflowers and other summer flowers. The shots were taken in daylight and without any further filters. Please note that there may still be color deviations from the original depending on the display device. Photos are part of the condition description.
