Art in Sharing: A Tribute to Maurice Leroy-Martel There are beings whose life resembles a grand painting, where every color is a passion and every stroke a gesture of sharing. Maurice Leroy-Martel was among them. A man of the stage and the heart, he traversed the cultural landscape leaving an indelible imprint of sensitivity. An actor and theater director, he knew the power of words and the magic of the boards. But his stage did not stop at red curtains. By becoming the guardian of the SPAF’s poetic evenings, he opened the doors of the imagination to an entire community, making verses and literature resonate at the heart of everyday life. A complete artist, his gaze also turned to the world through his brushes, capturing the beauty of the living to render it on canvas. Maurice Leroy-Martel did not live only for art; he lived to transmit it, reminding us that poetry, theater, and painting are precious vectors of human connection.
