Martell Premier Assemblage: Martell Premier Assemblage Cognac is another limited edition released to mark Martell's 300th anniversary. Cellar Master Benoit Fit recreated this cognac based on a recipe from 1879, following extensive study of the House's archives—specifically a document dated February 14, 1879. He set out to faithfully reproduce the formula written by his predecessor, sourcing the same origins and utilizing eaux-de-vie with spirited character; these were aged in various types of casks and selected based on the individual merit of their aromas. The result is a balanced composition of 5 cognac crus—Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois—creating a blend that reflects the richness of the Charente terroirs. As a further tribute to the brand's heritage, the bottle is an authentic cognac flask (resembling those used in the late 19th century), featuring a distinctive, robust shape. The blue label from that era has been faithfully reproduced and bears the House's coat of arms and the signature J. & F. Martell, in tribute to Jean and Frédéric Martell—the founder's two sons who gave the House its name.
