Mart Signed (XX) - - THE URBAN FIFRE

Gallery value: Original stencil works by Mart Signed, not prints, are offered through European galleries with indicative price ranges between 3,000 and 4,000 euros, testimony to the positioning and collectible interest reached by the artist's work. Technique: Spray stencil on materials recovered from the street, selected to preserve the identity and authenticity of the street art language. Dimensions: The indicated dimensions refer to the specific exemplar offered and should be considered approximate due to the irregular shape and perimeter of the fragment. Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Broken Wall Broken Wall arises from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings into houses, galleries, and private collections a fragment of the street language, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary art piece. The wall is not merely the support of the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the breaks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material preserve the link with the urban context from which street art arises. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work The work does not impose an answer, but leaves each observer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or a reproduction. The work depicted in the photographs is exactly the one that the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity The materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain a living connection with the original street art language. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities, and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements belonging to the material’s history and the work’s identity. These characteristics are intentionally preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by the artist-signed certificate of authenticity, and delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included, unless otherwise indicated for the specific exemplar. Instagram and project participation The journey of the work can continue after purchase. Collectors can share their work on Instagram by tagging @martsigned and using the hashtag #MartSigned. Pieces properly tagged may be reshared by the artist through their channels, showing the different destinations reached by the works and creating a direct connection between artist, collector, and the public. Periodically, special initiatives, giveaways, or small gifts related to street art can also be organized through social networks. Participation is voluntary and independent of purchase of the work. Any methods and conditions are communicated through the artist’s official channels. The artist Mart Signed is an Italian street artist active internationally. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries, and his artistic research develops around the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bring the language and material of the street into homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years Mart Signed has developed international presence through collaborations and relationships with various art world entities. His research connects street art, urban memory, recovered materials, and space transformation. In 2023 Mart Signed also participated in a documentary about Banksy and street art culture. Shipping The work is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packaged, protected, and insured, with particular attention to the most delicate parts and the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking, from dispatch to delivery. In case of a high volume of shipments, preparation and delivery may take a few extra days. For any information regarding shipping, you can contact the artist directly through the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each work is produced individually and no two copies can be identical. The shape of the support, the fracture, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally vary from one piece to another, making each piece unrepeatable. The 20 works share the same artistic project and the same conceptual core, but each maintains its own physical and visual identity. They are not therefore 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and different pieces, all belonging to the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code printed on the certificate of authenticity.
