Marquetry Table de Chevet - Bijzonder model - Commode - Marble

A curved, veneered and inlaid Table de Chevet, suitable as an occasional table or nightstand, features floral-motif marquetry. Notable are the elegantly curved shapes and the stylish fittings. With its rounded forms and drawer arrangement, the design strongly resembles a small dresser. What makes this piece special is that it has a drop-leaf on one side and a drawer on the other, while the front suggests three drawers. The top is made in thick, colorful yellow breccia marble.
