A work of art in every stroke: Marlen's 'ART' series celebrates the most influential artists in art history. The Red Boy (Goya) Marlen's 'Arte' collection is enriched with a new masterpiece: a fountain pen and roller dedicated to Francisco Goya's famous portrait, "Red Boy." A full-length oil portrait painted by Francisco Goya in 1787-88, depicting a boy of three or four years old, standing in red clothes, with birds and cats. An iconic work, described by art historian Claus Virch as "one of the most captivating and well-executed children’s portraits ever painted, and also one of the most famous." Housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York since 1949. A limited edition, a tribute to Spanish art and artisanal craftsmanship. Available in 5 different colors, each made in 100 fountain pens and 50 rollers, for a total of 150 pieces, this collection in particular is crafted in brown mottled Italian resin with light veining inside, a homage to the warm and vibrant colors of the painting. On the pen body, in quartz, the miniature of the artwork is reproduced, a detail that makes each pen a unique piece. Two decorative rings close it at the ends, adding a touch of elegance. The band on the cap is engraved with the name of the work and the author. At the top of the cap, a disk reproduces the Marlen mark, a symbol of quality and craftsmanship.
