Mark Catesby (English, 1683 - 1949), Three Naturalist Prints From "Catesby's Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands", three hand colored engravings, each housed in similar frames comprising: plate no. 24 Harengus and Arbor Populi, plate no. 34 the To-whe Bird, the Cow-pen Bird and Populus Nigra Folio Maximo, and plate no. 65 Lacerta and Stirax. Dimensions: sight for each is 15 x 11in, the frames 23 x 18 1/2in Provenance: From the estate of Dr. and Mrs. Martin Mandel Condition Various levels of toning, otherwise the prints appear to be in good condition, not examined out of the frame, the frames with some minor surface wear.
