MARK AVIS DESIGNS (BRITISH) 'ATLAS' CLOCK SCULPTURE, EARLY 21ST CENTURY Polished aluminium, stained glass, glass 63 of an edition of 100 195cm high, 46cm wide, 30cm deep Provenance: The Time House, Lincolnshire, UK, 13th February 2007 (£13,000 paid) Condition Report: The work presents really well. There is some light pitting and one bit of missed welding, all in the make. There are a few small light surface scratches, very minor indeed. The glass face opens easily and cleanly. The clock mechanism has not been tested for time keeping. The work is signed in cast to the lower left hand side of the base. It is heavy (approx 150kg) and will require careful specialist handling.
