Mariner's compass - Brass

A unique decorative item with a rich maritime history? This robust, antique ship's compass from the renowned instrument maker G. de Koningh is a real mood-setter for a classic interior, country house, office or maritime collection. Your compass is a liquid compass that is currently dry and therefore not functional. The heavy brass has a beautiful authentic patina that has developed over the years (possibly nice to polish to one's own taste). The gimbal ring works smoothly, so the compass hangs beautifully in balance. Under the compass a light has been placed so it is also very decorative in a dark environment. Many photos added so the condition is easy to assess. Also a photo showing the light on. Photos are part of the description The compass will be very well packed, registered and insured shipped with a track and trace code. See also my other lots and potentially save on shipping costs. Will not be shipped to the United States.
