Unique work by Marie Line Robert (1963) - "Les Australes" French artist best-seller in online art galleries. Hand-signed acrylic painting. In perfect condition. Technique: Acrylic on canvas Dimensions: 97 x 130 cm Signature of the artist at the bottom right and on the back. Careful and fast shipping. Description: In this abstract and contemplative work, Marie Line Robert explores the encounter between the sky, water and earth in a composition imbued with a remarkable sense of space and movement. The canvas is organized around an almost horizontal horizon line, fine and luminous, that separates a vast sky from the denser material of the landscape. The eye is immediately drawn to the richness of blues, turquoise and cyan, evoking a stretch of water, while ochre, earth, brick red and orange tones punctuate and warm the composition. The painterly material, built up through layers, transparencies and thicker brushstrokes, gives the surface an almost tactile dimension. The forms are never fully defined: they appear, dissolve and respond to one another, leaving the viewer free to perceive a marine landscape, lands seen from above, a coast, or an imaginary territory. The sky occupies a major place. Its broad swaths of blue and white, touched by deeper nuances, suggest an atmospheric space in perpetual transformation. In the lower part, the color masses seem to be in motion, like fragments of landscape carried by water or memory. Overall, it exudes a sense of depth, freedom and inner travel. The presence of warm colors amid a blue-dominated palette creates a subtle balance between coolness and warmth, calm and energy. This work, measuring 130 × 97 cm, with its generous format and open composition, has a strong wall presence. It invites prolonged contemplation and can fit both a contemporary interior and a space seeking an abstract work that is at once poetic, luminous and evocative. Themes: abstraction, abstract landscape, sea, horizon, light, material, movement, imagined landscape, contemporary painting Biography: Marie Line Robert is a French artist. She was drawn to painting in 2006. Painting became her outlet and she has never left it. Marie Line Robert’s works are full of life, often conveyed through urban landscapes or marine scenes; she likes to blend cool or warm tones with the expressive force of vivid, sparkling colors; in the foreground the exuberant colors bring great luminosity to her canvases and celebrate life. Although not completely abstract, her works blur the outlines, focusing more on visual emotions than on realistic details. Exhibition: Her works have been exhibited in various galleries in France, in Paris, but also in New York.
