She carried out much of her artistic activity in the Chicago area and stood out especially for easel painting, portrait, landscape, and mural painting. askART She was a pupil of the renowned American painter William Penhallow Henderson and was linked to the Chicago Art Academy. Her career achieved a certain recognition in the city’s art circle, eventually exhibiting at the Art Institute of Chicago. Historical documentation from the institute itself confirms her participation in exhibitions: works by her appear such as Saracen House, Harbor, Palermo, Palazzo, Palermo, Pink Mosque and Shoemakers, Taormina, done in pastel. askART Her production shows a special interest in landscapes, urban scenes, portraits and views made during her travels.
