DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK We propose at auction a lively and iconic screenprint signed by Marco Lodola, one of Italy's most beloved contemporary artists, internationally recognized for his unmistakable Neo Pop aesthetic. In this work, titled "Fab Four", Lodola pays vibrant homage to the Beatles, transforming the legendary Liverpool band into a pure visual icon. Through his classic style of stylized silhouettes and bright colors, without bodily details but made unmistakable by posture and clothing, the artist captures the energy and myth of pop music. The screenprinting technique maximizes the flatness and brightness of the color tones, creating a work with strong decorative and visual impact. This is an essential piece for Pop Art collectors and music enthusiasts, made even more exclusive by the extremely limited edition (only 99 copies) and the guarantee of direct provenance from the Master's atelier ("Lodolandia"). BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES AND CRITICS ON THE ARTIST Marco Lodola (Dorno, Pavia, 1955) is one of the founders and leading figures of the "New Futurism" movement, theorized in the 1980s by critic Renato Barilli. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and Milan, Lodola has blended the visual arts with design, music, cinema and fashion, becoming a true "multimedia" artist and national-popular in the broadest sense. His works are populated by pin-ups, couples on Vespa, dancers, cars and legendary musicians. Luminous silhouettes, Perspex sculptures illuminated with neon (his famous "light boxes"), enamels and screenprints compose his vast and joyful visual universe. Lodola has participated in prestigious world exhibitions, from the Venice Biennale to the Centre Pompidou in Paris, with shows in South America and Asia. He also maintains a strong connection with the world of entertainment and light popular music: he has created iconic stage designs for the Sanremo Music Festival, for theater and for tours of artists such as Max Pezzali (883), Jovanotti and Timoria. He has also collaborated with major fashion and industry brands (Dior, Valentino, Coca-Cola, Illy), bringing his iconic art outside museums and making it an integral part of the urban landscape and contemporary mass culture.
