His artistic development has led him from painting to sculpture. His pieces are not molded, but built from found objects that he rarely modifies. Rusted irons, washers, hinges or remnants of field tools coexist with stones from different origins: stones from the Saharan hamada, volcanic stones from the island of Gran Canaria and river pebbles. Solà combines them little by little, without a predefined scheme, until the form appears. Thus arise figures with an archaic air, influenced by ancient Greek sculpture, speaking of memory, migration and return to the origins. Currently he is represented by the Espai Art60 gallery in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Girona, Spain.
