Housed in a heavy ebonized wooden architectural case featuring dark marbled-like intrasion side columns. The clock face is protected by a hinged brass glass bezel, opening to reveal a crisp white enamel dial with classic Roman numerals and two key-wind arbors. Mechanism & Sound Functionality: - Movement: Authentic French "Mouvement de Paris" mechanical movement with solid brass plates, fully tested and in excellent working condition. - Serial Number: Stamped with movement serial number "1562". - Strike/Chime: Centrally mounted brass bell struck by an internal hammer mechanism. It strikes once on the half-hour and counts the full hours on the hour. - Winding Key: Comes complete with a winding key. - Rear Panel: Solid wooden back door preserving the movement from dust.
