Let yourself be captivated by the irresistible sweetness of this artistic ceramic sculpture: a work that blends the elegance of high Italian craftsmanship with the charm of early 20th-century classical illustrations. The goose, portrayed with a graceful retro cap and pastel bow tie, stands with wings partly open inside a finely crafted stylized nest. Not just a simple ornamental figurine, but a versatile conversation piece that can serve as a catchall tray for the entrance, a boudoir jewelry box, or a decorative centerpiece for country-chic and romantic interiors. Perfect for those seeking a detail capable of breaking the coldness of contemporary design, bringing a smile to anyone who looks at it. Item from a private collection. This marking style (initials of the master/workshop + brush-number) was typical of the renowned Italian ceramic districts of excellence, in particular those from Veneto (Bassano del Grappa and Nove) and Tuscany (Florentine area/Sesto Fiorentino), specialized in figurative ceramics and high-quality giftware for domestic and international markets. The object was born as a creation modeled by artisans and master decorators of a traditional workshop, clearly inspired by anthropomorphic fairy-tale characters made famous by European children's literature (such as Beatrix Potter). Good aesthetic condition; see the photograph, which is an integral part of the description. It shows small signs of wear consistent with its age.
