Mamalu Wood Hand-Carved Art Wood Eggplant Sculpture

This contemporary pop art mixed-media sculpture showcases a pair of stylized eggplants meticulously hand-carved from regional hardwoods, featuring a deep translucent purple body with an internal mottled texture and a reflective, glass-like high-gloss finish. The asymmetrical organic forms are capped by sculpted, vibrant lime green and yellow stems, with both figures permanently mounted to a sleek, rectangular white lacquered metal plinth. Definitively attributing the work to the South Florida workshop, the smooth base features master craftsman Luis Gonzalez's authentic hand-applied script signature reading Luis G. near one corner.
