Majolica porcelain duck, European School, 20th century

Descriptio Polychrome glazed porcelain or earthenware. Measures 60 x 50 x 28 cm. Large duck figure, positioned with its wings slightly open next to a vertical tree trunk, in a composition with a striking decorative effect. The modeling emphasizes the richness of the plumage and the chromatic variety of greens, pinks, ochres, and whites, achieving a very eye-catching presence. The piece connects with the tradition of ornamental majolica and 20th-century naturalistic ceramics, designed as a visually impactful element for gardens or interiors. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
