▐ Maita is proud to present this exclusive collection that celebrates Italy, its history and its spirit, in a limited edition of 488 fountain pens and 388 roller pens, a true jewel for collectors and lovers of the Belpaese. Italy is a wonderful place, rich in history, famous for culture, fashion, sports cars, food and the prestige of its wines, as well as for its geographically varied wealth. Many of these aspects of Italian culture also have a deep international impact, making Italy one of the best-known and most-visited countries in the world. ▐ The collection is crafted in premium blue Italian resin, with light shades (a clear nod to the blue jersey, the uniform adopted by almost all Italian teams that represent Italy internationally) and is characterized by a hand-painted double tricolor placed on the top of the cap. The Tricolor is the symbol of Italy in the world and represents its national pride: the Red symbolizes blood, the suffering of all people who pursued the dream of freedom and fought for Italy’s unification; the White represents the Catholic faith of Italians and symbolizes the Alps with their great glaciers; the Green is the hope of a free and united Italy, the desire of many Italians who have lost their lives pursuing this deep value, and it is the green of the Mediterranean scrubland, the landscape typical of our country. On the body of the pen and on the cap ring is depicted Italy and the three capitals that have succeeded each other over the years are highlighted by gemstones. A design that evokes the blue jersey. The pen is made in premium blue mother-of-pearl resin with light shades, a tribute to the blue jersey, symbol of unity and national pride, worn by all Italian sports teams at the international level. ▐ A symbol of national pride, through the history of Italy.
