The Macallan Rare Cask 2019 Batch 2 It’s the second wonderful batch of The Macallan Rare Cask for 2019! Just like Batch No.1, it was vatted from 50 European sherry seasoned oak butts. The whisky is presented at 43% ABV in a rather lovely decanter. Sherried Macallan is always a winner, and this expression is wonderfully complex. Nose: Soft notes of opulent vanilla and raisin pique the nose, giving way to a sweet ensemble of apple, lemon and orange. Palate: Oak resonates, timeless, polished and rich. Vanilla and chocolate lead the finale along with a light citrus zest. Finish: Full and warming. This whisky is ideal as gifts for the end of the year. Only 5000 bottles have been made worldwide. The Macallan Rare Cask 2019 Batch 2 Dit is de tweede prachtige batch van The Macallan Rare Cask uit 2019! Net als Batch No. 1 werd deze whisky samengesteld uit 50 Europese eikenhouten sherryvaten (butts). De whisky wordt gebotteld op 43% alcoholvolume en gepresenteerd in een bijzonder fraaie karaf. Macallan met een uitgesproken sherrykarakter is altijd een succes, en deze expressie is bovendien prachtig complex. Neus: Zachte tonen van rijke vanille en rozijnen prikkelen de neus en maken vervolgens plaats voor een zoet samenspel van appel, citroen en sinaasappel. Smaak: Eikenhout is duidelijk aanwezig: tijdloos, verfijnd en rijk. Vanille en chocolade voeren de boventoon richting de finale, aangevuld met een lichte toets van citrusschil. Afdronk: Vol en verwarmend. Deze whisky is ideaal als geschenk voor de eindejaarsperiode. Wereldwijd werden er slechts 5.000 flessen geproduceerd. Flessen en verpakking verkeren in perfecte staat.
