Opmerkingen bij het proeven The Macallan 30 Year Old Double Cask 70cl Whisky (75 cl.). Single malt. Tasting Notes – The Macallan 30 Year Old Double Cask 70cl Whisky (70 cl). Single Malt. With a colour reminiscent of golden oak, The Macallan 30 Year Old Double Cask reveals aromas of honeycomb, sweet toffee, fresh red apple, ripe figs and hints of vanilla. The palate is smooth, deep and exceptionally refined. This whisky offers delicious and complex notes of cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, dried fruit and oak. About The Macallan 30 Year Old Double Cask As one of the pioneers in obtaining a legal licence to distil whisky in Scotland, The Macallan has played a significant role in the development of the Scotch whisky industry and is renowned for its dedication to quality and tradition. Above all, The Macallan distinguishes itself through the outstanding quality of its single malt whiskies, characterised by the use of unusually small copper stills and the finest oak casks sourced from Spain, North America and Scotland. Within its extensive range of whiskies, the Double Cask series refers to a maturation process involving two different types of oak casks. The Macallan 30 Year Old Double Cask is matured for 30 years in two types of sherry-seasoned oak casks: European oak and American oak. This long maturation creates an exceptional whisky whose colour, aromas and distinctive flavours give it a truly unique character. A beautifully mature and complex single malt, combining rich dried fruit, warming spices, vanilla and elegant oak notes.
