Support and Realization Technique The icon is painted directly on a rough board, respecting the traditional process of preparation and application of color inherent to the iconographic discipline, where raw wood becomes the natural, living support on which the sacred image takes shape. Holy Blessing and Spiritual Value The icon does not require any blessing, as it has already been blessed in the Sacred Celestial Grotto of Monte Sant'Angelo, a place unique in the world and famous for being consecrated directly by Saint Michael the Archangel and not by human hand. This work carries with it the deep spiritual charge of this sacred place. The Crossed Halo with the Greek Letters (O Ω N): Represents divine glory and bears the inscription 'He Who Is,' affirming the eternity of God.
