Luxurious Vintage Entourage Ring With Sapphire & Diamonds, Great Britain

The ring here features the classic combination of white diamonds with a large midnight blue sapphire. In doing so, it sets the large, natural stone weighing 2.10 carats in a frame of 1.18 carats of fine brilliant cut diamonds and two diamond baguettes. The classic Ceylon cut sapphire displays a deep, dark blue colour. The white sparkle of the diamonds further enhances this mysterious colour of the sapphire in this ring. The settings of the gemstones are made of platinum, while the ring band is made of no less coolly luminous white gold. The gallery also allows light to reach the gemstones, which can thus unfold their play of light particularly beautifully. It is a classic design that has seen increased popularity again in recent years. Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, wears a very similar piece from the London court jeweller Garrards on her ring finger; it is a piece of jewellery formerly worn by Princess Diana. To be sure that the gemstone in our ring is a natural sapphire, we commissioned an appraisal from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation in Idar-Oberstein. The experts came to a valuation of 5.790,- Euro for our piece of jewellery. The ring bears British hallmarks and came from Stuttgart to us in Berlin.
