Lot includes Cunard Steam Ship Company Document dated May 31st 1915, Discussing the recovery of the body of Charles Edwin Paynter, also includes a Statutory Declaration dated March 20th 1916 regarding a lawsuit in the death of Alice Winnifed Bingham and a Cunard Steamship company Letterhead dated May 29th 1915 Regarding identifying a body from the sinking. The fourth piece is a postcard written aboard the Lusitania May 1st 1915 and mailed May 2nd 1915. "Dear Mother (Boat is Full) Have arrived so far. Have had an awful time getting baggage on board. The boat will be at any rate an hour late starting. Much Love". Excellent and historic lot. Estimate $1,000 - $1,500
