Luis Enrique González (XX-XXI) - Cristo coronado de espinas

Portrait of Christ with a crown of thorns, in a soft low-angle shot, the head tilted back and the gaze directed upward. Dramatic lighting shapes the face, highlights the wounds on the forehead and temples, and leaves the hair and beard in shadow. The monochrome background in dark earth tones isolates the figure and concentrates attention on the expression of restrained suffering and uplift. The controlled brushwork and volumetric modeling give the image a sculptural presence. Work executed entirely by hand. Includes certificate of authenticity. It is shipped rolled in a rigid transport tube for maximum protection. The work is shipped unframed, rolled and protected in a transport tube to ensure its preservation. Images with frames are for guidance only; the frame is not included in the sale.
