Luceplan - Alberto Meda & Paolo Rizzatto - Hanging lamp - Miranda D60s - Metal

The De Luceplan Miranda D60s is a refined pendant lamp in which technical precision and timeless elegance come together. Designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto, this design reflects the rational and thoughtful approach with which Luceplan has secured a firm place within the international design landscape since the eighties. The design is characterized by a harmonious combination of clean lines and soft shapes. The slim metal structure supports a generous opal glass diffuser, which distributes the light evenly and provides pleasant, diffuse illumination. The subtle transition between glass and metal gives the lamp a light, almost floating appearance, while the carefully balanced proportions ensure a calm and timeless presence. As with many designs by Meda and Rizzatto, Miranda D60s is free of superfluous details. Each part has a clear function within the whole, resulting in a design that is technically and aesthetically convincing. It is precisely this restraint that gives the lamp its enduring appeal and makes it as relevant today as at the time of its introduction. Thanks to its soft light distribution and elegant presence, Miranda proves excellent above a dining table, in a lounge area, or as a atmospheric focal point in an entrance hall or foyer. By day it forms a sculptural object, while in the evening it emits a warm and comfortable light that contributes to an inviting atmosphere.
