Luca Cartoonist - Cucù (resin artwork)

Resinated artwork, with a glossy finish; in the photo an example of the reflection seen in backlight. The work comes directly from the artist's studio, in perfect condition. The entire painting was handmade with acrylic paint on a comic collage applied to canvas, and coated with resin over the whole painting, giving the piece that glossy plastified effect that will protect the color over time. It is a unique original piece, not in a series, and will arrive ready to hang, i.e., framed. Accompanied by the corresponding certificate of authenticity. Shipping via Brt courier with delivery in 24-48 working hours (in Italy). The piece is hand-signed on the front and back. On my social pages Luca.Cartoonist you can view all my works. Luca Cartoonist, born Luca Angelini in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. A lifelong comics enthusiast (Disney above all), he earned a diploma in advertising graphics at the Istituto d'arte of Ascoli Piceno, then completed his studies with a bachelor’s degree in comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different professional path (though always artistic), until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to devote himself fully to the world of pop art. He mainly depicts characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them into contemporary situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today. He mainly uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed techniques of printing and collage on canvas. Since 2021 collaborations with several Italian art galleries, he has participated with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…). It is possible to follow his work by following the Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages "luca.cartoonist".
