The back panel enamelled with a depiction of the The Laundress ( La Blanchisseuse ) after a painting by Jean-Baptiste Greuze dated 1761, within a foliate border with diamond push buttons, the white enamel face with Roman numerals and diamond-set hands, marked in case with charge, date-letter (L) and maker; on ring with decharge; the movement and the face signed Verneaux A Paris, No 1733 Size/Dimensions: 4.1 cm. (1 5⁄8 in.) diameter Gross weight: 71.2 grams
