1/43 Looksmart - Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider No. 234 "Tour de France 1954" - MINT IN BOX / Exceptional Rarity Unique Opportunity for Very Demanding Collectors – Concours Condition Specialists of the prancing horse brand and enthusiasts of the golden age of motor sport, here is a centerpiece that has become unavailable. We offer a replica of an exceptionally rare Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider No. 234, entered in the mythical Tour de France Automobile in 1954, masterfully reproduced by the prestigious manufacturer Looksmart (Reference LS214). Absolutely Mint Condition: "Mint in Box" This prestige miniature comes from the private collection of a great Ferrari enthusiast and purist, ensuring impeccable care and traceability: Never exposed: the model has been kept in absolute concealment from direct light (no fading), dust, and humidity. Never handled: the miniature has never left its box, except for this first and only time to take the photos for this listing. Perfect case: The base, the high-clarity plexiglass dome, and the original outer packaging are in pristine, like-new condition with no micro-scratches or dents. The Looksmart Excellence & Official License: Looksmart is worldwide renowned by collectors for its excellence and the surgical finesse of its high-quality resin reproductions. This model benefits from the Official Ferrari License: presence of official holograms and authentic logos on the packaging, certifying strict compliance and the high heritage value of the model. Historical & Technical Details of the Real Car: The Ferrari 500 Mondial (named in honor of Alberto Ascari’s World Championship titles) is a competition icon. The Myth: This chassis bears the silver-gray livery with number 234, an exact replica of the Spider bodied by PininFarina driven by the French crew Dupont / Biagini in the legendary Tour de France 1954. The Mechanical Heart: Unlike Ferrari’s traditional V12 blocks, the 500 Mondial hides under its long hood a engineering masterpiece: a 2.0-liter inline-4 (1984 cm³) with dual overhead cams, developed by the legendary engineer Aurelio Lampredi. Delivering nearly 170 horsepower for a light weight of 720 kg, it offered unmatched agility and torque on the winding French road courses. Important Note Regarding the Photos: The detailed photos attest to the strictly mint and impeccable condition of the miniature and its packaging. Please note that some whitish reflections or bright lines visible in the images are solely due to light refraction during studio photography. They are in no way defects, scratches, or alterations. Logistics & High-Security Shipping: Because such a piece requires shipping to match its value: Ultra-secure packaging: Protection with thick bubble wrap, millimeter-precise professional padding in a double-wall rigid carton. International Tracking: Ultra-fast shipping with real-time tracking number and insurance matching the final auction value.
