Lola López (1962) - "Lilies spoke to me"

- Oil on canvas. Original canvas. Hand-signed. - In the field today, the lilies spoke to me of this unchangeable truth that the earth keeps. - Lola López (Cartagena, 1962), one of the most genuine voices of Spanish emerging painting, builds a plastic proposal of formidable dynamism, where the expressiveness of the stroke and chromatic exuberance rise as true conceptual engines of her work. Her career, backed by a solid exhibition trajectory started in the eighties, testifies to an artistic maturity forged at milestones such as her solo shows at the Domingo Torres Art Gallery or the Casa de la Cultura in her native Cartagena, passing through reference spaces such as the Galería de Arte San Mario in Barcelona, the Sala Spacio's, or the Centro Cultural La Aljorra. Early recognized with distinctions such as the Accésit of the Belénista Association in 1982 and with a continuous presence in key Levante venues such as the Casa de la Cultura in San Pedro del Pinatar and the Galería Expohobby, Lola López’s signature embodies that fascinating paradox of contemporary art: a language that is fresh and bold, whose chromatic vitality continues to captivate the gaze of today’s collectors with renewed vigor. - Image dimensions without frame: 91 x 73 cm / 111 x 93 cm with exclusive custom frame. Some lots, due to their age and value, require an export permit granted by the Ministry of Culture. Although it is an administrative procedure, it is essential to ensure the authenticity of the work and its free circulation at an international level. Montbaron Gallery is committed to offering our clients original, unique and unrepeatable works of art, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of every piece in our collection. To ensure transparency and trust in every purchase, we offer a digital Guarantee Certificate, signed by a certified art historian. This certificate certifies that the acquired work has been authenticated by our specialists, who verify its authorship, origin and conservation status. The Guarantee Certificate includes full details about the piece, such as its author, creation date, technique used, and dimensions. The digital Guarantee Certificate will be issued upon the client's request, providing an official reference for the purchased piece. This document will be sent in digital format and will be signed by an art historian from our gallery, ensuring its validity and backing.
