Loïc Tuhal (1962) - The Power of the Gaze

Loïc Tuhal (1962) – The Power of the Gaze Loïc Tuhal, born in 1962, is a French contemporary painter whose work is characterised by a physical and expressive approach to painting. He places particular emphasis on colour, texture and gesture, creating compositions with vibrant contrasts and a strong visual presence. This work, entitled “The Power of the Gaze”, depicts two faces in close-up, brought together by an especially intense interplay of gazes. A third gaze appears at the centre of the composition, creating a striking visual tension and adding a unique sense of depth to the piece. The vivid palette, dominated by reds, oranges, blues, greens and pinks, combined with generous brushwork and rich pictorial texture, gives the work a powerful presence and a distinctly contemporary character. Technique: oil on canvas Dimensions: 90 × 120 cm Signature: signed by the artist The artist's biography will be provided in French with the artwork upon shipment. Photographs showing the artwork in an interior setting are for illustrative purposes only. They do not necessarily reflect its actual dimensions and proportions.
