An iconic piece of postwar Czechoslovak design: the large "Atomic" vase (model no. 13010), designed by the renowned master Jiří Řepásek for the Libochovice glassworks (Sklo Union) around 1970. This heavy, pressed-glass masterpiece is a perfect example of the Space Age style and Bohemian modernism. The relief decoration, with geometric explosions and radial lines (hence the name "Atomic" or "Sunburst"), provides spectacular light refraction, turning the object into a true glowing sculpture.
