Rare traditional Sicilian knife of the 'sfilato' type, branded Lenzo, an interesting collectible example likely dating from the 1990s. The knife features the characteristic long, slender line of the Sicilian sfilato, with a horn-effect celluloid handle in beautiful brown-reddish tones and a glossy finish. The handle is finished with metal rivets and a small terminal ring. The blade, slim and pointed, is made of 420 INOX steel and is clearly engraved with the word “Siciliano.” On the tang there is also the 420 INOX mark and the manufacturer’s brand. An example that is not common today, particularly interesting for enthusiasts of Italian regional knife-making, Sicilian knives, and productions from recent past. Features: - Manufacturer/brand: Lenzo - Type: Sicilian sfilato - Period: presumably the 1990s - Total open length: 21 cm - Blade length: 9 cm - Blade steel: 420 INOX - Handle: horn-effect celluloid - Inscription on blade: “Siciliano” - Folding knife - Terminal metal ring - Made in Italy - Also suitable for convivial occasions Conditions Good vintage condition, with normal minor signs compatible with age and storage. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the conditions, finishes, and markings.
