Elegant, art-nouveau soliflore vase by François Théodore Legras (1839-1916). Mouth-blown and hand-painted circa 1900 in Paris, Saint-Denis. Legras is regarded, together with Gallé, Daum and Lalique, as one of the glass masters of this period. The glasswork features a garland of flowers in enamel, finished with refined gold screen printing. Total height is 23.5 cm. No cracks, damage, or limescale. Bubbles are present in the green-blue glass, of which one has burst open at the neck opening. At the bottom, numbered "1". A transparent variant with the same design is listed in the catalog: “Legras; Verrerie artistique et populaire française”. Shipped with due care.
