LEDMansion - Tears of Apollo – V.1 | Led Wall Artwork

Subject and Theme: “Tears of Apollo – V.1” reinterprets in contemporary key the iconic beauty of classical sculpture, with an emotional intensity that astonishes and moves. The face of Michelangelo’s famous David is crossed by black tears, symbol of a silent and deep pain, while a bright blue luminous halo gives him an almost divine aura, between sacred and profane. The work questions the ideal of classical perfection, suggesting that even the gods can suffer — and that vulnerability is a form of beauty. Technique and Creation: Printed on a high-definition rigid PVC panel, the work is hand-finished and equipped with a built-in circular blue LED frame, which emphasizes the statue’s face with a uniform and penetrating glow effect. The lighting adds depth and expressive power, making the piece perfect for modern environments, industrial lofts, or spaces dedicated to contemporary art. Each piece is part of a limited edition, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Inspiration and Curiosity: Apollo, the god of light, beauty, and art, is depicted here in a moment of emotional collapse. His black tears become a symbol of the conflict between divinity and human fragility. A piece designed for those seeking a powerful, impactful aesthetic, but also a deep message: that even those who shine can fall… and be reborn.
