LEDMansion - Let That Shit Go V.2. | Led Wall Artwork

Subject and Theme: This work is an ironic, contemporary reinterpretation of Vermeer's famous Girl with a Pearl Earring. Instead of the delicate original pose, the protagonist holds in her hands a stack of toilet paper rolls illuminated by pink neon LED, while in the background the writing LET THAT SHIT GO appears. The contrast between the classic setting and the humorous message turns the work into a modern pop culture icon, playing with the idea of letting go of the superfluous with a provocative yet elegant touch. Technique and Creation: The piece was created digitally and printed on high-quality PVC to ensure visual depth and sharp details. The neon LED wraps around the stack of toilet paper, adding a three-dimensional effect that immediately captures attention. The scratch-resistant coating protects the surface, ensuring brilliance and durability over time. Inspiration and Curiosity: "Let That Shit Go – The Pearl Edition" blends classical art and contemporary culture, transforming a timeless masterpiece into a pop icon with current meaning. The integration of neon and toilet paper, unusual elements in a portrait from the 17th century, creates a strong contrast that prompts reflection on the balance between tradition and modernity, seriousness and irony. A perfect work for those who love art with a fun and irreverent twist. Instagram: @led.mansion We have reserved 40 pieces of this collection exclusively for Catawiki.
