The door is ajar: she is watched from the corridor. It is late, the city shines through the window, and the lamp is now only for her. She leaves, or she has just come back. In either case, something ends in this room. Chiaroscuro held by a single source: the pleated lampshade lamp, rendered in warm yellows, against a night-blue that swallows everything else.
