"Heroes Without Masks" Tela XXL - Limited Edition (100 copies) Photographic Pop Art work that transforms some of the most celebrated icons of pop culture into an ironic, irreverent, and surprisingly human scene. The protagonists are depicted from behind, far from the epic aura that made them legendary, giving rise to an image capable of leaping humorily into the very concept of heroism. Through the contrast between symbolic characters of the collective imagination and a deliberately desecrating situation, the work invites the viewer to smile and to look at contemporary myths from a completely new perspective. The result is an original composition with a strong visual impact, combining irony, pop culture, and creative photography. “Le Perle di Ské” is a family of autodidact artists specializing in the creatively recovered use of objects and materials, which are given a new life through works inspired by contemporary culture, cinema, and Pop Art. Each creation is born in their Naples studio and is now collected across Europe.
