( "Please consider that the reserve price ensures the coverage of the professional materials used, allowing the artist to continue this creative journey and guarantee the authenticity of each piece.") Description "Silence du feuillage" (Silence of the Foliage) is a magnetic and vibrant artwork from the contemporary art series "Il giardino di Flora" (Flora's Garden). "Silence du Feuillage" is an abstract work that celebrates the chromatic poetry of nature. Created with a spatula, the composition develops vertically, with a pale pink background on which dynamic brushstrokes of delicate greens intertwine. The shapes move from bottom to top, evoking the silent movement of foliage and its light vibration. A work that invites you to listen, calm and connect with nature. The painting explores a profound, poetic concept: nature does not need to make noise to manifest its grandeur. It is an invitation to observe the silence of the natural world—a silence that is never static or empty, but deeply alive, pulsating, and constantly evolving. ### Technical Notes & Style Technique: Created entirely with a palette knife using high-quality acrylic paints. Movement & Dynamism: The artwork features a rich, heavy-textured (materico) finish. Applied with bold and dynamic strokes, the leaves intertwine in an upward motion, guiding the viewer's eye toward the top and evoking the growth and vital force of nature. Color & Light: The acrylic colors overlap and blend directly on the canvas through intricate chromatic layering. The use of iridescent, shifting tones allows the painting to change its personality depending on the ambient light, revealing new reflections and recreating the magic of light filtering through branches. PLEASE NOTE : Colors and tonal nuances may vary slightly depending on the device, screen settings, and lighting conditions. Buyers are therefore encouraged to carefully view all photographs, including the close-up details, to better appreciate the artwork's original colors, textures, and material qualities. Buyers are kindly encouraged to carefully read the full artwork description Why Bid on This Artwork? This painting combines the raw energy of the palette knife technique with a delicate, intimate reflection on the whispered beauty of nature. It is perfect for modern interiors, offices, or private collections looking for a piece of art with both a strong visual impact and deep conceptual value. DETAILS: The painting is not framed, the photos of the framed work serve as an example. The dimensions indicated correspond to the painting already framed, so you will receive a larger canvas. The photos were taken with natural light at different times and positions, they have not been modified in any way, but you will notice some differences in tone depending on the brightness to which the painting is subjected. There are in fact reflections caused by the gold metallic colors that change depending on the light. The canvas is signed on the back to allow freedom of installation and also because, especially for the abstract genre, I believe that the finished work has its own independent life and that the artist is responsible for its creation. Together with the painted canvas, the certificate of authenticity signed by the artist will be sent. -LAURA CAPELLINI - Contemporary abstract painter- I am a contemporary abstract artist living and working in Italy. I develop my work through distinct pictorial series and projects, but with a concept that always draws on the natural dimension: elements, cycles, metamorphosis, interior gardens, flowers as a metaphor for the female condition. All the works I present on Catawiki are unique, hand-painted pieces: the surfaces are dynamic, textured, and textured. You can sense the movement and constant energy of each brushstroke. My technique is based on layering acrylic colors, sometimes combined with oil. I combine this structured approach with a freer dimension: using drippings, fluid gestures, dripping techniques, the use of brushes, and especially palette knives of various sizes: this allows me to avoid rigid forms and leave room for chance and imperfection. It is in this fusion of color study and expressive freedom that my visual language comes to life.
