Ca. AD 300 - 500. A rectangular mosaic panel depicting a lively composition of animals arranged around a small tree with spreading branches. Two horses occupy the central and right-hand sections, their bodies rendered in reddish-brown, ochre and grey tesserae, with carefully defined harnesses, manes and anatomical details. A smaller horned quadruped stands to the left, while another animal appears beneath the neck of the principal horse.
