Late Roman / Early Byzantine Bronze Ring with Fluted Spherical Bezel – 4th to 7th Century AD A distinctive bronze ring featuring a circular hoop, pronounced shoulders and a raised spherical bezel decorated with deep radiating flutes, creating a ribbed or melon-like appearance. Small rounded projections at the shoulders add to the sculptural profile of the piece. The surface preserves a dark archaeological patina with lighter mineral deposits and age-related wear, while the overall form and decorative treatment are more consistent with Late Roman to Early Byzantine jewellery traditions than with later medieval rings. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 3.0 x 2.1 cm Weight: 6.22 gr Provenance: Acquired in Germany at an Auction House. We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
